Second Conference on Medical Genetics inaugurated

The
Second Conference on Medical Genetics to be held from 15-17 February
2015 was inaugurated, Sunday, at the main auditorium of King Abdulaziz
University Hospital.
Organized by Princess AL-Jawhara Albrahim Centre for
Excellence in in Research in Hereditary Disorders in collaboration with
the Department of Genetic Medicine, the event covers a number of topics,
including Medical Genetic Clinical Perspective, Medical Genetic Lab
Perspective, Stem Cell Technology and Applications, Genetics of
Specialized Systems and Genetics in Everyday Practice
Categories of awards for best research to be given on the
sidelines of the event are Clinical Genetics, Basic genetics and young
researcher.
Two interactive workshops on how to describe Dysmorphic
features and counselling skills will also be organized, in addition to
hands-on workshops on Multi SNP panel screening (SNaPshot) and SNPs
microarray in Genetics. |
