Governor of Public Education Evaluation Commission visits KAU

Dr
Naif bin Hashal bin Abdulmohsen Al-Roomi, Governor of the Public
Education Evaluation Commission (PEEC), paid a visit to KAU.
He
was received by the Acting KAU President Prof Abdurrahman Alyoubi in
the presence of Prof Abdullah Mohorji, KAU Vice President, Prof
Abdul-Fattah Mashat, KAU Vice President for Development, in addition to a
number of deans of relevant faculties.
Prof
Alyoubi gave a speech in which he welcomed Dr Al-Roomi and hailed
PEEC's efforts to improve the quality and efficacy of public education
and support the national economy and its development by improving public
education outcomes.
In his speech, Dr Al-Roomi outlined the roles played by PEEC to enhance the educational process.
According
to him, PEEC is responsible for issuing rules, regulations, licences
and standards necessary for the evaluation processes in all different
stages within the framework of its statute and other relevant
regulations.
A
plan to establish a new KAU education evaluation to complement PEEC's
role of improving education and measuring performance efficiency was
also unveiled by Prof Alyoubi.
