Prof Richard M. Satava visits KAU

Prof
Richard M. Satava, Professor of surgery at the University of
Washington, USA, paid a visit to King Abdulaziz University (KAU),
Tuesday, within a policy of attracting highly-cited academics from
renowned international educational institutions with a view to promote
scientific research.
Professor Adnan Zahed, KAU Vice President for Graduate
Studies and Scientific Research, received Professor Stava at his office
in the presence of Dr Wadee Alhalabi, of the Faculty of Computing and
Information Technology.
Prof Stava gave a lecture to share his expertise with
graduate students and academics in the areas of surgical simulation and
surgical robotics.
According to Prof Zahed, the meeting served to identify
areas of mutual cooperation in scientific research in line with KAU's
policy of seeking to provide a high-quality education and taking
advantage of the capacity and expertise of other local and foreign
universities and scientists. |
