Addressing the inaugural ceremony, Prof Tayyeb said the forum was in tune with KAU's policy of promoting scientific research, describing it as  a great opportunity for the students to present their research projects and creative ideas in various disciplines.

He also pointed out that the number of submissions to this year's forum had risen by 30% from last year.

He also made a tour of an exhibition held on the sidelines of the event.

According to Prof Adnan Zahed, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, the event is in maintenance with KAU's earnest efforts to encourage initiatives, participation and students' thoughts with an eye to unlock their potential and develop their research skills.
