About the unit

The Conferences, Seminars and Workshops Unit was established on 5/14/1431 AH. The Decision of His Excellency the Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research No. 7203 was issued to establish the Conferences, Seminars and Workshops Unit.

Unit Objectives

• Strengthening the links between the university and other universities by organizing conferences and scientific meetings within the university, following them up with the relevant authorities, participating in supervising them, and submitting its recommendations to the Ministry for distribution to universities and bodies related to the topic of the conference.
• Contribute to achieving the vision and mission of the university to be in the ranks of international universities and to show the university on the international map through the participation of faculty members in conferences, seminars, workshops and organizing scientific meetings.
• Making statistics and building databases for participants in conferences, seminars, workshops, and conferences held by the university.
• Cooperating with the university sectors to obtain the necessary approvals to hold scientific events.
• Facilitating and developing the procedures for faculty members to attend conferences, seminars, workshops and the like.
• Opening channels of communication with other universities and international research centers through visiting professors and obtaining the necessary visas for them to visit the university
